How AMATIX handles your data. Compliant with the Swiss FADP and the GDPR.

Privacy Policy

AMATIX (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data this website processes, and why.

Data we collect

  • Email and phone contact. If you write or call, we process your email address, phone number and the content of your message, for the purpose of replying and, if it goes further, of managing the engagement.
  • Website analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying usage data — see below.

We do not operate a contact form, a newsletter, or user accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, and we do not buy or enrich contact data about visitors to this site.

Analytics

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and referrers.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-oriented by design: it sets no cookies, uses no localStorage for measurement, and does not fingerprint or track visitors across sites or sessions. It does not build a profile of you. The processor is Cloudflare, Inc., a company headquartered in the United States, which may process the data outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA. Cloudflare acts as our data processor under a data processing agreement incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

The measurement script is loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com. Blocking it in your browser has no effect on how this site works.

Cookies and local storage

This website sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies.

It uses a single localStorage entry, amatix_lang, which records the language you selected (English, German or French) so the site can open in that language next time. It stays in your browser, is never transmitted to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Fonts and third-party requests

All fonts are self-hosted. This site makes no requests to Google Fonts, no CDN requests for libraries, and embeds no third-party media, social widgets or trackers. Apart from the analytics script named above, loading a page on amatix.ch contacts no server other than our own.

Correspondence is processed on the basis of your request and our legitimate interest in responding to it. Analytics data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate site usage; because it is not personal data about you, it cannot be linked back to you. Correspondence is retained for as long as needed for the matter it concerns, and thereafter as required by Swiss commercial and tax record-keeping obligations.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • request deletion
  • object to processing
  • receive your data in a portable format

Write to welcome@amatix.ch to exercise any of these. We will respond within 30 days.

Data location

Correspondence is held in a Swiss-hosted mailbox. Analytics is processed by Cloudflare as described above.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and the “last updated” date above will change with them.
